Stan Shih, Co-Founder of ACER, will be a notable speaker at ABS2024, discussing how Taiwan can advance in digital creativity and the arts through digital assets. ASUS Metaverse will also have a significant presence, showcasing their latest Web3 innovations. A key highlight of the summit will be the unveiling of the Blockchain Roadmap by Far Eastern International Bank on August 8, emphasizing Taiwan's pivotal role in tech and finance. Jacklyn Tsai, Honorary Chairwoman of Taiwan FinTech Association, will discuss recent developments in finance.
According to Ju Chun Ko, a legislator from Taiwan's Legislative Yuan, the country's progress in regulation and nurturing technical talent and the crypto industry positions it as a global leader in semiconductors, AI, and decentralization in the Web3 era. "Taiwan is the heart of Asia's blockchain industry," Ko stated.
ABS2024 will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum; Audrey Tang, Taiwan's first Digital Minister; Glen Weyl, founder of Plurality Institute; Hester Pierce, U.S. SEC Commissioner; Steve Yun, TON Foundation President; Lily Liu, Solana Foundation President; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, actor known for '500 Days of Summer' and 'Inception'. This lineup underscores the summit's importance as a global magnet for technology talent and innovation.
