The Stanley Law Group Attorneys Named to 2026 South Carolina Super Lawyers List

The Stanley Law Group in Columbia, South Carolina, announced that attorneys Mark B. Stanley and Breon Walker Offord have been named to the 2026 South Carolina Super Lawyers list. The honor is awarded to no more than five percent of lawyers in each state through a rigorous selection process involving peer nominations, independent research, and peer evaluation, according to the firm's press release.

This recognition carries weight in the legal community because it signals professional distinction and excellence in practice. For clients seeking legal representation, the Super Lawyers designation can serve as a reliable indicator of an attorney's skill and reputation. The Stanley Law Group, which has represented clients in and around Columbia since 1990, now has two attorneys on this prestigious list, underscoring the firm's commitment to high-quality legal services.

Mark B. Stanley, a Columbia native, earned his B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, where he captained a baseball team that reached three consecutive College World Series. He holds dual Master's degrees in Business Administration and Information Science from North Carolina Central University and a Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law. Stanley has tried numerous personal injury cases to verdict and previously earned a Super Lawyers Rising Star selection. He is licensed in South Carolina and Florida.

Breon Walker Offord brings 15 years of trial experience to the firm. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina Honors College and her Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where she received the Custer Tuggle Award for Excellence in Family Law. After clerking for Circuit Court Judge Reginald I. Lloyd, she worked in the civil and criminal divisions of the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General before joining The Stanley Law Group. A Super Lawyers honoree since 2020, Offord has also been named to the National Bar Association's 40 Lawyers Under 40 and received the South Carolina Leadership in Law Award. She concentrates on wrongful death, automobile and trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, and products liability claims, and serves as President of the South Carolina Black Lawyers' Association.

The firm's combined experience exceeds 100 years, and it has recovered over $50 million for accident victims and their families. The selection of Stanley and Offord to the 2026 Super Lawyers list reinforces the firm's reputation for handling serious injury claims, including car, truck, and motorcycle accidents, on a contingency fee basis.
