Phyllis LaVelle has announced the opening of her new Reiki healing office, Traveling Warrior Healer, situated in the Salon and Spa Galleria Bridgewood in Fort Worth, Texas. LaVelle's unique approach to Reiki and spiritual healing is deeply rooted in her childhood experiences on her family's farm, where she connected with nature and developed a profound understanding of life and spirituality.
LaVelle believes that being a true warrior involves embracing the miracles of life and overcoming challenges. For her, a spiritual warrior is someone who helps others find their true selves and aligns them with Universal Energy. Her mission is to offer transformative healing experiences that promote peace, contentment, and harmony.
An alumna of Front Range Community College in Fort Collins, Colorado, LaVelle is certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. She offers a range of Reiki training sessions, including one-day workshops for first- and second-level Reiki and two-day Elite Reiki Master Teacher workshops. Additional training in Cord Cutting and Energetic Tune-up is also available.
LaVelle emphasizes hands-on learning in her workshops. "I believe that everyone learns by action, so I teach in this form. We practice on each other to ensure you understand before the end of the workshop," she said. She also maintains ongoing support and mentoring for her students long after the workshops conclude, helping them practice Reiki and even start their own businesses.
Continuing education credits are available for her courses, with 16 credits for the combined Reiki level I and II, and 24 credits for the Elite Reiki Master Teacher. Training can be conducted at the Traveling Warrior Healer office or at the client's home. More details are available on her website.
