Trilogy Metals Named to 2026 TSX30 After 570% Share Price Surge

Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE American: TMQ) (TSX: TMQ) has been named to the 2026 TSX30, an annual ranking of the top-performing companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange over a three-year period based on dividend-adjusted share price appreciation. The company's share price increased 570% during the three years ended June 30, 2026. This recognition underscores growing investor confidence in Trilogy Metals and the strategic importance of its Arctic Project in northwestern Alaska to the American critical mineral supply chain.

President and CEO Tony Giardini said the recognition reflects investor confidence in Trilogy and the strategic importance of the Arctic Project in northwestern Alaska to the American critical mineral supply chain. The TSX30 ranking is based on dividend-adjusted share price appreciation over a three-year period, and Trilogy's 570% increase places it among the top performers on the exchange. For investors, this accolade may signal strong market validation of the company's asset base and future prospects, particularly as demand for critical minerals like copper and cobalt continues to rise globally.

Trilogy Metals Inc. is a metal exploration and development company holding a 50 percent interest in Ambler Metals LLC, which has a 100 percent interest in the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP) in northwestern Alaska. On December 19, 2019, South32, a globally diversified mining and metals company, exercised its option to form a 50/50 joint venture with Trilogy Metals. The UKMP is located within the Ambler Mining District, which is one of the richest and most-prospective known copper-dominant districts in the world. It hosts polymetallic VMS deposits that contain copper, zinc, lead, gold and silver, and carbonate replacement deposits which have been found to host high-grade copper and cobalt mineralization.

Exploration efforts have been focused on two deposits in the Ambler Mining District – the Arctic VMS deposit and the Bornite carbonate replacement deposit. Both deposits are located within a land package that spans approximately 190,929 hectares. Ambler Metals has an agreement with NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation that provides a framework for the exploration and potential development of the Ambler Mining District in cooperation with local communities. Trilogy Metals' vision is to develop the Ambler Mining District into a premier North American copper producer while protecting and respecting subsistence livelihoods.

The TSX30 recognition comes at a time when the United States is seeking to secure domestic supply chains for critical minerals, reducing reliance on foreign sources. Copper and cobalt are essential for renewable energy technologies, electric vehicles, and advanced manufacturing. The Arctic Project's potential to contribute to these supply chains could have significant implications for national security and economic competitiveness. For readers and investors, this news highlights the growing importance of responsible mineral development in stable jurisdictions like Alaska.
