With HackaTRON Season 6 coming to a close, the TRON DAO team, alongside HTX DAO, BitTorrent Chain (BTTC), and JustLend DAO, has showcased a series of innovations that have significantly impacted the blockchain landscape. This season saw participants redefine the digital space across multiple tracks, including Web3, DeFi, Artistry, Builder, and Integration, leading to unique projects that pushed the boundaries of blockchain technology.
HackaTRON Season 6 attracted over 1,100 participants, each developing distinct projects on TRON’s interface. The prize pool amounted to $650,000, featuring $500,000 in TRX, TRON network’s native utility token, and $150,000 in energy, which can be used to subsidize transactions and smart contract interactions on the TRON network.
The season also boasted a lineup of prestigious sponsors, including ChainGPT, Solidus AI Tech, Ankr as diamond sponsors, Kima Finance as the platinum sponsor, GT-Protocol as the gold sponsor, and Router Protocol as the silver sponsor. This support created a safe and productive environment for TRONics to thrive.
This year's HackaTRON inspired productive competition, leading to the selection of winners by both judges and the community. The judge-selected winners in each category received significant financial rewards, with the champion receiving $25,000, the runner-up $15,000, the third-place finisher $10,000, and the fourth and fifth places taking home $8,000 and $6,000, respectively.
The Web3 track recognized teams that advanced the transition from Web 2.0 to Web 3.0 with projects like BlinkAI by Blink, Transatron by Transatron, and Toqen Factory by Decentra. In the DeFi track, projects such as HandShake by HandShakers and GuessThePrice by GuessThePrice highlighted the transformative potential of decentralized finance.
The Artistry track, spotlighting creative endeavors in GameFi, NFTs, and the Metaverse, saw winners like Unclaimed: Fall of Mankind by Unclaimed and TOBA by TOBA Projects. The Builder track acknowledged teams that improved and updated existing projects, with notable winners including Block Fabric by BlockFabric and Solide by Solide Project.
The Integration track, previously known as the A.I. track, urged participants to incorporate advanced protocols into the TRON ecosystem. Winners included JustMoney Explorer by JustMoney and CodeHive by HiveTeam.
Community-selected winners were also celebrated, with the first-place victor securing $7,000, the second-place winner receiving $6,000, and the third-place finisher getting $5,000. The community's vibrant engagement was evident, with projects like SaveWallet by TronSave and ClaimFreeTRX by Stian being recognized.
The HackaTRON Season 6 also honored the 'Top 10 Community Contributors,' acknowledging individuals for their active participation and commitment to the community. Each of these contributors received a reward of $500.
