Troubadour Resources Expands Exploration Efforts at Senneville Gold-Silver-Copper Project with Advanced Geophysical Survey

Troubadour Resources is advancing its exploration strategy at the Senneville Gold-Silver-Copper Project by implementing a sophisticated geophysical survey designed to uncover potential mineral deposits in Quebec's renowned Val d'Or mining region. The company's latest initiative involves a comprehensive 3,000-meter Induced Polarization (IP) survey across five parallel lines, strategically planned to address gaps in previous geological investigations.

The survey builds upon initial research conducted in November 2024, which revealed two promising zones with potential for gold mineralization that had not been previously targeted by diamond drilling. By collecting additional geophysical data, Troubadour aims to refine its understanding of the property's geological characteristics and optimize the upcoming maiden drill program.

Located approximately 25 kilometers northeast of Val d'Or, the Senneville property spans over 12,000 hectares and is contiguous with Probe Gold's Val d'Or East properties. The area is particularly attractive due to its prospectivity for both orogenic gold and polymetallic VMS-style mineralization, with neighboring properties hosting a combined resource of 6.7 million ounces of measured and indicated gold and 3.3 million ounces of inferred gold.

Preliminary survey results have already identified compelling chargeability anomalies along the hanging wall and footwall contacts of the Senneville Komatiite in areas previously unexplored by diamond drilling. These zones are particularly intriguing, as previous claim holders had detected metal anomalies including silver, copper, nickel, and zinc in the same geological contexts.

Of particular interest is the Gustave Cere gold showing, where historical drilling has intercepted high-grade gold values ranging from 1.4 g/t to 18.75 g/t. The gold-bearing quartz and quartz-carbonate veins in this area bear significant similarities to the gold-bearing veins found in neighboring Novador deposits, suggesting substantial mineral potential.

CEO Chris Huggins emphasized the company's innovative approach, stating that Troubadour is looking beyond historic work to identify new discovery opportunities. The upcoming spring 2025 diamond drill program will be strategically designed based on the results of this comprehensive IP survey, potentially unlocking new insights into the region's mineral wealth.

The survey, being conducted by Geophysique TMC of Val d'Or, represents a methodical and data-driven approach to mineral exploration. By leveraging advanced geophysical techniques and building upon historical geological data, Troubadour Resources is positioning itself to potentially uncover significant mineral resources in one of Canada's most prolific mining districts.
