US SIF Appoints Jennifer Coombs as Head of Content & Development

The Sustainable Investment Forum (US SIF) has selected Jennifer Coombs as its new Head of Content and Development, signaling a strategic move to deepen educational resources and expertise in sustainable investing. With over fifteen years of experience in financial services, Coombs brings a comprehensive background spanning technical analysis, equity research, trading, and portfolio management.

Coombs' appointment represents a significant addition to US SIF's leadership team, with CEO Maria Lettini highlighting her unique ability to create foundational and timely content. Her extensive involvement with the organization includes spearheading the Chartered SRI Counselor (CSRIC) designation program, which has enrolled more than 1,400 professionals since 2018.

Prior to joining US SIF, Coombs held notable positions including director of client success at Ethos ESG and adjunct professor at The College for Financial Planning. Her professional achievements include being named to Investment News' 40 Under 40 list in 2023 and receiving CFFP's Faculty of the Year award in 2022.

Coombs' expertise is particularly critical as sustainable investing continues to gain prominence in financial markets. US SIF represents members managing $5 trillion in assets, focusing on long-term investments that generate positive social and environmental impacts. Her role will be instrumental in advancing the organization's mission to shift investment practices toward sustainability.

With advanced degrees in Finance from The College for Financial Planning and a bachelor's in Financial Analysis and Political Science from Clarkson University, Coombs brings academic rigor and practical experience to her new position. Her background as a two-time TEDx speaker and former member of InvestmentNews' ESG advisory board further underscores her thought leadership in sustainable investing.
