Verizon Offers YouTube’s NFL Sunday Ticket Free with Select Plans Ahead of 2026 Season

Verizon announced on July 30, 2026, that it is offering YouTube's NFL Sunday Ticket at no additional cost to customers who purchase an eligible 5G phone and activate a new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate or Unlimited Plus plans, or switch an existing line to those plans after buying a qualifying phone. The promotion, running through September 2, can save customers up to $480, according to the company. Additionally, customers who switch their home internet to Verizon's 100% fiber-optic Fios Home Internet, select premium Verizon Home Internet options, or a premium Frontier Fiber tier (1G, 2G, 5G, or 7G) are also eligible for the offer.

For existing Verizon Home Internet customers and new or existing Simplicity customers, a standalone subscription to YouTube's NFL Sunday Ticket is available for $234, or the NFL Sunday Ticket plus NFL RedZone streaming bundle for $276. The service includes out-of-market Sunday afternoon regular season games, excluding games streamed exclusively on digital platforms, with additional terms and broadcast restrictions.

Beyond the savings, Verizon is introducing Verizon Shine, a component of its new Verizon Loyalty Program, which provides customers with weekly chances to win exclusive experiences. Starting the week of August 3, customers can enter for an all-expenses-paid 5-day trip to see the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints in the first NFL game in Paris. More daily surprises and football fan giveaways are available through the My Verizon app. The broader loyalty program also eliminates activation and upgrade fees and offers Verizon Dollars, where customers earn 3% cash back each month.

This promotion underscores Verizon’s strategy to bundle mobile and home internet services with high-value entertainment offerings, potentially increasing customer retention and attracting new subscribers in a competitive market. For consumers, the deal reduces the cost of accessing NFL out-of-market games, which can be significant for fans following teams outside their local market. The loyalty program further incentivizes long-term commitment to Verizon services.

Customers can sign up for the NFL Sunday Ticket offer at verizon.com/nfl-sunday-ticket-on-youtube-streaming/ or visit a Verizon store. To participate in Verizon Shine, they should check the My Verizon app for daily surprises and once-in-a-lifetime experiences.
