Veterans Edu Launches U.S. Time-Zone Live Online SAT Classes for Korean Students Abroad

For Korean students living in the United States, preparing for the Digital SAT through a Korean academy has often meant navigating significant time differences. Veterans Edu, a Seoul-based education company founded in 2011, has announced an expansion of its live online SAT program to include dedicated sections scheduled for North American time zones. This move allows students in the U.S. to attend classes in real time, rather than logging in during the middle of the night.

The expansion addresses a growing expectation among families choosing an SAT academy overseas. According to Veterans Edu, test-prep programs that align with students' schedules and time zones are now a fundamental requirement, not a premium feature. The new U.S.-based sections are designed for North American hours, offering live instruction that enables interactive sessions with real-time feedback—an advantage over recorded video lessons.

In addition to time-zone accommodations, Veterans Edu is offering English-only sections for students who are more comfortable studying in English. These sections are tailored for international-school students and Korean-American students in the U.S. who use English as their primary academic language. By removing the language barrier, the academy aims to make its SAT program accessible to a broader range of Korean students abroad.

The academy's approach is supported by its track record. As of July 2026, Veterans Edu reports that 1,538 students have scored 1500 or above on the SAT, one of the largest such totals among Korean SAT academies. Additionally, 19,824 students across 42 countries have taken its courses as of the same date, reflecting a diverse student base spanning multiple time zones and school systems.

Beyond test preparation, Veterans Edu provides support in GPA management and U.S. university admissions guidance, which are often handled alongside SAT prep by international-school students. By combining a Korean SAT curriculum with U.S. time-zone scheduling and English-only options, the academy seeks to make live, real-time SAT preparation accessible to Korean students wherever they are based.

This expansion is significant for Korean families in the U.S. who previously had limited options for live, interactive SAT prep in their own time zone. It also reflects a broader trend in education technology where services are increasingly tailored to the global mobility of students. For the education industry, this move highlights the importance of flexibility and language inclusivity in reaching international student populations.

Veterans Edu, located in Gangnam, Seoul, specializes in Digital SAT, TOEFL, and AP preparation, along with U.S. university admissions guidance for students at international schools and Korean students living overseas. More information is available at veteransedu.net.
