Vintage Atelier, a new hair and beauty salon, has officially opened its doors at Salon & Spa Galleria South Cooper in Arlington, Texas. The salon is helmed by Tayye Green, a hair specialist with six years of industry experience and a passion for hair care that began in childhood.
Green, a graduate of the Ogle School of Beauty and Cosmetology in Arlington, has made a name for herself with her expertise in braids and textured hair health. "Hair has always been my first love," Green stated. "It made perfect sense for me to follow that love and pursue a career working with hair."
Green is committed to not only styling her clients' hair but also educating them on maintaining its health. "I genuinely care about the health of your hair," she explained. "And because I care, I'm willing to teach you." To complement her services, Green offers a selection of bonnets and durags for sale in her shop.
Vintage Atelier is currently accepting new clients on an appointment-only basis. The salon operates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to accommodate various client schedules. To celebrate its opening, Green is offering a 20-percent discount on clients' first and second services.
