Western Star Resources Engages Dahrouge Geological Consulting to Advance Tungsten Assets in Nevada and New Mexico

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) announced on July 21, 2026, that it has engaged Dahrouge Geological Consulting to assist in evaluating and exploring the company's past-producing tungsten assets in Nevada and New Mexico. The move underscores Western Star's commitment to revitalizing North America's tungsten supply amid growing demand for critical minerals.

Dahrouge Geological Consulting, a North American mineral exploration, consulting, and project management group with offices in Edmonton, Montreal, and Denver, will support Western Star's technical team. The Denver office, which provides regional expertise in site-specific geology and resource evaluation, will lead the effort. Dahrouge offers professional geological, logistical, and project management services, including project generation, program design, geophysics, project evaluation, and resource estimations.

Jacob Anderson, Certified Professional Geologist at Dahrouge, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Western Star's team to better understand the geology and mineralization of the Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico. “Dahrouge will work aggressively to advance the understanding of Eagle Point's resource potential, while helping to de-risk and expand the Mineral Resource of the project,” Anderson said.

Western Star CEO Blake Morgan highlighted the significance of the engagement: “We are thrilled to have added Dahrouge to our existing geological team as we continue to advance our Past Producing Tungsten Assets in Nevada and New Mexico. Dahrouge has been reviewing and analyzing the technical data at the Past Producing Eagle Point Mine in New Mexico in order to define drill targets across the known surface mineralisation and to consolidate all the data into a well-developed technical presentation and model.”

The immediate goal is to develop a comprehensive program to drill the historical noncompliant resource. Following an initial maiden drill program in 2026, the team will work toward a Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE). Morgan noted that the board will release updates to the market as soon as possible.

This partnership comes as Western Star positions itself to participate in the growing need for secure domestic critical mineral supply. The company is an emerging junior mineral exploration company focused on revitalizing North America's tungsten supply through past-producing assets in historically important mining districts.
