WETEX 2024 Expands Global Reach with 21 International Pavilions

The 26th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX) is set to make a significant impact on the global sustainability landscape as it hosts 21 international pavilions from various countries. The event, organized by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), will take place from October 1 to 3, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, featuring an impressive lineup of over 2,800 companies from 65 countries.

The India Pavilion, organized by the Water Purification And Treatment Association of Gujarat (WAPTAG), has seen a 50% increase in participation compared to the previous year. Rishabh Sanghvi, Vice-President of WAPTAG, highlighted that participating companies will showcase cutting-edge technologies for drinking, effluent, and sewage water treatment solutions.

The Belgium pavilion, representing the Walloon region, will feature six companies specializing in water treatment, processors, IT, and green hydrogen. Edith Mayeux, Economic Counselor for the AWEX, Wallonia Export & Investment Agency, expressed confidence that their expertise will contribute significantly to combating climate change and its impacts.
