L&C Future Lab, a subsidiary of L&C Bio, has unveiled its first offline experience store for the revolutionary AI-driven beauty platform IM TYPE at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) in Seoul, Korea. IM TYPE, developed in collaboration with Lululab and the Global Medical Research Center, utilizes an AI kiosk-based system to diagnose users' skin types and provide customized beauty solutions.
IM TYPE stands out in the beauty industry by leveraging a database of 4 million global skin data entries and 3,000 clinical research data entries. The platform distinguishes 90 skin types across five spectrums, ensuring precise and personalized cosmetic recommendations for each user. Visitors to the experience store can immediately purchase cosmetics tailored to their skin type based on comprehensive data-driven diagnosis results.
The IM TYPE experience store offers a variety of exhibition spaces, including advanced AI skin diagnosis areas. New members receive a photo booth voucher for in-store use, and those who complete a kiosk skin diagnosis are provided with sample kits. Additional exclusive benefits are available for visitors, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Strategically located at DDP, a central hub in Korea, the IM TYPE experience store attracts a diverse range of international visitors, reflecting the increasing global interest in K-beauty. The store is expected to draw visitors from countries such as the United States, Russia, Japan, and China. IM TYPE aims to operate both physical and online stores to offer personalized cosmetic recommendations based on skin data analysis.
This development is significant for the beauty and skincare industry as it represents a fusion of advanced AI technology and extensive dermatological research. By providing highly personalized skincare solutions, IM TYPE has the potential to revolutionize the way consumers approach skincare, offering more effective and tailored products. The launch of the experience store not only enhances customer engagement but also underscores the growing influence of K-beauty on a global scale.
