Merchants have initiated a spontaneous campaign called "A Golden Autumn Invitation Across a Thousand Miles" that highlights the personal relationships underpinning Yiwu's global trade network. One hundred Yiwu business leaders have created micro-dramas showcasing their international partnerships, including Chen Meijun's story of helping a young Uzbek man pursue traditional Chinese medicine studies and Sheng Yafang's 25-year friendship with an Uzbek partner built on integrity. These narratives demonstrate how trust has become a fundamental currency in global trade relationships.
Technological advancement represents the other cornerstone of the new trade center's strategy. The Chinagoods AI (CGAI) technology platform has enabled what organizers describe as a "visual content revolution" for merchants. At a recent marketing summit, one thousand AI-generated brand commercials were unveiled simultaneously, addressing traditional barriers of cost, production time, and creative limitations in video content creation.
"In the past, producing a brand video could cost hundreds of thousands of yuan and take several months. Now, with AI technology, a single product image can generate ad content with an international look and feel," explained one participating merchant. The system allows for rapid creation of region-specific content tailored to visual preferences across European, North American, Middle Eastern, and Southeast Asian markets, achieving what developers call "one click, global reach."
Two AI-generated creative videos have demonstrated the platform's global marketing potential. "To the Summit" uses Mount Everest imagery to depict Yiwu's digital traders launching a "Global Digital Trade Crystal" that connects international trade networks. "Breaking Boundaries" features an AI-generated hot air balloon carrying young entrepreneurs across global landmarks while extending multilingual invitations to "Come to Yiwu to do global business." The latter video surpassed 3.9 million views within one day of release, establishing a new benchmark for cross-border digital marketing effectiveness.
The Yiwu Global Digital Trade Center represents a national strategic-level project focusing on fashion accessories, smart home products, collectible toys, outdoor leisure, and consumer electronics. With 3,760 innovative shops, the center aims to establish a fully digitized, 24-hour operational "intelligent trade ecosystem" where language, time zones, and geographic boundaries no longer present trade obstacles.
"We are committed to empowering every small and medium-sized merchant with the 'content creativity' and 'brand communication power' that once belonged exclusively to international major brands," stated the CGAI project lead. The center's opening events will include a welcome gala for global buyers, new product launch festivals, and AI interactive experience exhibitions, offering visitors an immersive celebration of technology, commerce, and culture.
