Angkor Resources Reveals Promising Magnetic Survey Results at Andong Bor Copper-Gold License in Cambodia

Angkor Resources has released the results of a comprehensive ground magnetic survey conducted on the Andong Bor copper-gold license in Cambodia, revealing significant potential for mineral exploration. The survey, completed in early 2025, analyzed magnetic data across 49 survey lines spanning between 2,200 and 2,700 meters in length, with lines spaced 100 meters apart.

The technical team's analysis uncovered multiple promising zones of potential mineralization, with Zone C emerging as the primary focus for future drilling activities. Dennis Ouellette, VP Exploration for Angkor, highlighted the survey's importance, noting that the magnetic data closely correlates with existing geochemical anomalies and previous core logging results.

The survey's 2D models suggest magnetic features ranging from 300 to 500 meters in area, with depths between 100 and 150 meters in Zone C. Notably, the magnetic data revealed a ring-like structure in the Thmei North prospect, which includes previously drilled holes ADBDDH16-005, 007, and 008.

Researchers identified multiple exploration zones with varying characteristics. Zone C represents the highest-priority target, while Zone A2 is considered the second-highest ranked area for potential drilling. The magnetic survey also revealed complex geological structures, with some zones showing disrupted magnetic responses and multiple fault lines.

The findings are particularly significant for the mineral exploration industry, as they provide a more comprehensive understanding of the geological potential in the Andong Bor license area. By correlating magnetic data with geochemical anomalies, Angkor Resources has developed a more refined approach to identifying potential mineralization zones.

Angkor holds a 20% carried interest in the license, with its Canadian partner CanBodia Copper Corp. funding the exploration activities. The company is working towards potentially discovering a significant copper-gold deposit in the region.

While additional analysis is still pending, the current results demonstrate the value of advanced geological survey techniques in mineral exploration. The magnetic survey provides a promising framework for future drilling efforts and potentially represents a significant step towards identifying viable mineral resources in the area.
