Capriotti's Sandwich Shop will officially reopen its Colorado Springs location at 5856 Barnes Rd. on September 15 under new corporate ownership. The 1,433-square-foot restaurant returns with a renewed commitment to operational excellence, top-tier customer service, and the premium subs that made it a local favorite.
The reopening brings back signature offerings such as The Bobbie®, voted "Greatest Sandwich in America," and the Classic Cheesesteak, an official member of the Cheesesteak Hall of Fame. The menu also features the new Cooper Sharp® Cheesesteak for a limited time, alongside a full selection of subs made with ultra-premium American Wagyu from Snake River Farms®.

The relaunch is the first wave of a broader brand revitalization in the area, with the Cheyenne Road location set to follow. Backed directly by corporate management, the new team aims to restore the high-quality subs the community has missed while elevating the overall guest experience.
To celebrate the grand reopening on September 15, the location will host promotions throughout the day. The first 50 customers through the door at 9 a.m. will receive a free small 8" sub for their next visit, and guests can spin a prize wheel for swag and prizes throughout the day. A live radio remote will run from 2 to 4 p.m. featuring a free-subs-for-a-year giveaway, followed by Capriotti's swag bag giveaways from 5 to 8 p.m.
Regular hours of operation for the Barnes Road location are Sunday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Capriotti's offers dine-in, pickup, and delivery options, alongside robust catering services for group events and local gatherings.
