cyan AG Secures First German ISP Client Through CANCOM Partnership, Signaling ARPU Growth Potential

cyan AG, a provider of intelligent cybersecurity solutions, announced today that it has acquired its first German Internet service provider (ISP) as a customer through its partnership with CANCOM, one of Germany's largest IT system integrators. The deal, announced just months after the partnership was forged, represents a concrete step in cyan's growth strategy and underscores the increasing demand among ISPs for value-added services that can boost average revenue per user (ARPU).

Starting in September 2026, the unnamed ISP will actively market cyan's cybersecurity solution, cyan Guard 360, to its customers. The cloud-based solution is designed specifically to protect small and medium-sized businesses from digital threats such as phishing, malware, and other malicious content. According to cyan, the solution can be implemented quickly, is intuitive to use, and requires no significant additional effort on the part of the customer, making it an attractive addition to an ISP's service portfolio.

The deal reflects a structural increase in demand in the ISP market, as providers increasingly seek high-quality value-added services to sustainably increase ARPU. cyan Guard 360 addresses this need by offering a simple, integrated cybersecurity solution that can be easily integrated into existing provider infrastructures. ISPs can use it to expand their service portfolio while simultaneously tapping into new, high-margin revenue streams.

Markus Cserna, CEO of cyan AG, stated: "The first direct ISP deal in Germany is concrete proof that our growth strategy is working – and at a remarkable pace. There is strong and growing demand among German Internet service providers to offer their customers real added value through cybersecurity services while simultaneously increasing ARPU. Our cybersecurity solution, cyan Guard 360, meets this need."

cyan AG, listed on XETR under the ticker CYR, brings nearly 20 years of experience in the IT industry. The company offers IT security products for end customers of mobile and fixed network internet providers and financial service providers. Its solutions are integrated as white label products into the apps and system landscapes of international business partners, who then offer them to private and business customers under their own brand. cyan's customers include the Orange Group, Deutsche Telekom (Magenta/T-Mobile), and Claro Chile (America Movil Group).

The company operates its own research and development center to identify industry trends early and develop optimal product solutions. More information is available at www.cyansecurity.com. The original press release can be viewed on www.newmediawire.com.
