PLIEZHAUSEN, Germany – In a move that underscores the growing importance of sustainable and secure IT management in the public sector, DATAGROUP has been awarded a five-year contract by Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) to manage its entire end-user device lifecycle. The agreement, announced following a public tender, covers approximately 1,300 devices and aims to transform IBB's digital workplace environment.
The contract encompasses all stages of device management, from provisioning and configuration to operation, support, replacement, and secure recycling. This end-to-end approach means IBB will have a single service partner for all workplace provisioning needs, a strategy that promises to streamline operations and reduce complexity. According to the announcement, transparent processes across the device lifecycle will enable better planning of investments and replacement cycles, shorten deployment times, and reduce administrative overhead, ultimately increasing user satisfaction.
