Desert Sky Roofing, a veteran-owned roofing contractor serving Tucson and Southern Arizona for years, has officially changed its name to DSR Roofing. The company announced the rebranding on June 13, 2026, emphasizing that while the name is shorter, everything that matters about the company remains unchanged.
Owner Bill Kimbley, who served more than 20 years in the U.S. Air Force before starting the company with his son, explained the reasoning behind the change. "We simplified the name to better reflect who we've become," Kimbley said. "But the heart of it doesn't change. Tucson is home. These are our neighbors. A lot of the people we started out working for, we now call friends, and some of them feel like family."
DSR Roofing's mission is to protect homeowners from unethical contractors through what the company calls "legendary roofing experiences." This commitment is backed by five core values—Results, Accountability, Integrity, Serving others, and Excellence—that guide every job. The company has completed over 2,500 roofs in the region and holds a BBB A+ rating along with certifications including Tamko Pro Gold, TRC Master Applicator, and Tile Roofing Industry Alliance, as well as Arizona ROC licensing.
