DM Injury Law released its 2025 Kansas City Community Impact Report, revealing that the firm's team members contributed more than 1,300 hours of community service while supporting over 100 local nonprofit organizations and directly impacting 4,017 children throughout the year. This scale of corporate philanthropy and volunteerism demonstrates a significant commitment to local social infrastructure, particularly for youth and families in need.
Mike DiPasquale, founder of DM Injury Law and the DiPasquale Moore Law Firm Foundation, stated the firm's commitment is rooted in the belief that strong communities create strong futures. Since its inception in 2022, the DiPasquale Moore Law Firm Foundation has invested more than $500,000 in grants to support young athletes across Kansas City. In 2025 alone, the Foundation provided over $100,000 in grants and equipment to 23 local high school football teams, served more than 140 team meals, and hosted over 400 athletes and coaches at Media Day at Arrowhead Stadium. DiPasquale emphasized that investments in local athletics are intended to inspire growth and development in young athletes.
The firm's community engagement extended beyond athletics into critical areas of need. DM Injury Law's partnership with CarePortal earned the firm the organization's 2025 Philanthropic Award. Since 2021, the firm has positively impacted 521 children through CarePortal, generating an economic impact of $130,610 for families in crisis and preventing children from entering the overburdened foster care system. The firm's work was organized across four key areas: supporting families in crisis through organizations like Newhouse and Habitat for Humanity; aiding vulnerable populations via partners such as Harvesters and Literacy KC; providing cultural support through groups like The Hispanic Chamber and LatinX Education Collaborative; and fostering leadership and education with organizations including Boys and Girls Club of Greater KC and Junior Achievement.
The report quantified the 2025 impact with 1,373 volunteer hours contributed by staff, 309 staff volunteer appointments, 19,225 meals provided, over $511,000 in nonprofit sponsorships, $242,994 in direct donations, and support for 100+ nonprofit organizations. DM Injury Law encourages employees to volunteer on company time, with 5% of staff members serving on nonprofit boards throughout Kansas City. Stephanie Moore from DM Injury Law was selected as a Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City "Most Wanted" honoree in 2025, helping raise more than $1.6 million for children in need.
In addition to monetary contributions, the firm hosted community engagement events including Teacher of the Week recognition programs, Career Exploration Days, a free Citywide Basketball Tournament, and the Debate KC Essay Contest. DiPasquale added that the firm's connection to the community reflects the same care and commitment brought to clients, believing that demonstrating compassion, integrity, and service has unlimited potential for collective accomplishment.
