As vehicle technology advances, the demand for specialized expertise and technical support in auto repair is rising. In response, Elring, under its brand “Elring - Das Original,” will showcase enhancements to its Elring Garage platform at Automechanika 2026. The company aims to position itself as a “Preferred Partner. Original Quality. Expert Service.” for auto workshops and trade partners, offering products, technical know-how, and services tailored to daily operations. This initiative is part of ElringKlinger’s SHAPE30 group strategy, which emphasizes shaping the future of mobility together with customers.
The enhanced Elring Garage platform centralizes technical information, services, training courses, webinars, TechTalks, digital learning resources, and practical videos. It was developed in response to strong demand for greater technical support and direct access to specialist knowledge. The platform helps repair shops handle diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work efficiently while expanding their capabilities. By providing quick access to relevant technical information and application guidance, Elring Garage enables repair professionals to complete repairs more quickly and safely, work confidently with new technologies, and continuously broaden their expertise.
Elring Garage is also evolving into an international network for workshop professionals, engine specialists, and automotive technology enthusiasts. Digital and face-to-face formats allow participants to connect with peers globally, share knowledge, and build relationships. The portfolio includes technical articles, service information, exploded-view drawings, the Elring Academy, hands-on training, webinars, TechTalks, roadshows, a service hotline, the Sealant Advisor, and community opportunities. A notable addition is the new English-language video podcast “Elring Garage FM - Facts & Myths,” which explores current issues in engine technology and workshop practice, distinguishing facts from myths. Available on major podcast platforms, it delivers in-depth technical insights to a global audience.
“High-quality repairs depend on having the right products and the necessary technical knowledge,” said Georges Mourad, Vice President Aftermarket at ElringKlinger AG. By continuing to develop Elring Garage, the company supports repair shops not only with products but also with specialist knowledge and technical assistance, helping them adapt to technological change.
At Automechanika, Elring is also presenting product innovations for professional engine and powertrain repairs. These include new components for engine and transmission applications such as oil pans, valve covers, oil filter housings, oil separators, and specialist tools. The range also covers cylinder-head gaskets designed for use after cylinder head or engine block machining, ensuring reliable seals post-repair. Additionally, Elring is expanding its portfolio for alternative powertrains, including gaskets for electric drive units, shaft seals for electric drives, and solutions for battery, inverter, and high-voltage applications. The LiqRep portfolio, which supports economical and sustainable repairs of plastic and metal components, is also being strengthened.
These developments come as the automotive industry faces a shift toward electric and hybrid vehicles, increasing the complexity of repairs. By providing comprehensive training and support through Elring Garage, Elring aims to ensure repair shops remain competitive and capable of handling new technologies. The platform’s international networking opportunities further facilitate knowledge exchange, which is crucial as repair challenges become more global. Elring’s presence at Automechanika 2026, Hall 4.0, Booth C12, underscores its commitment to being a partner that goes beyond parts, delivering essential expertise for the future of mobility.
