Energy Fuels Inc. (NYSE American: UUUU) (TSX: EFR), a frontrunner in the U.S. uranium and rare earth elements production, has reported a historic production milestone at its Pinyon Plain mine in Arizona. The company extracted 258,745 pounds of U₃O₈ in May, a 71% increase from April's output. This achievement underscores the mine's high-grade uranium potential and Energy Fuels' operational efficiency.
In addition to the production record, Energy Fuels has filed an updated Technical Report for its Bullfrog Project in Utah. The report reveals a 15% increase in Indicated uranium resources and a 70% rise in Inferred resources, alongside the first disclosure of project economics, projecting a 15-year mine life. These developments are critical for the U.S. nuclear fuel supply chain, ensuring long-term resource availability and energy security.
The company is also accelerating permitting for its Roca Honda project in New Mexico, now featured on the federal FAST-41 dashboard, and has recommenced operations at its EZ Complex in Arizona. These initiatives are in line with recent Executive Orders aimed at bolstering the domestic nuclear fuel industry, highlighting Energy Fuels' role in national energy strategies.
