eQuorum Unveils Advanced Document Management Features to Boost Engineering Workflow Efficiency

Technology company eQuorum has released Version 12.2 of its engineering document management solutions, introducing significant enhancements designed to streamline workflow processes and improve data management across multiple industries.

The latest version of ImageSite® and EngineBox™ platforms introduces several innovative features aimed at addressing complex document management challenges. Key developments include advanced Data List Management functionality, which enables engineering, construction, and purchasing teams to create customized data lists for various project requirements such as master document lists, vendor requirement lists, and bills of materials.

One of the most notable innovations is the QR Code Data Linking feature, allowing users to link specific data lists to scannable codes that can be printed and attached to equipment or infrastructure. This technology enables quick access to relevant documents and data using mobile devices without requiring additional software installation.

The update introduces enhanced workflow management capabilities, including improved document control through step actions and SQL filtering. Users can now create parallel workflows, expedite decision-making processes, and manage last-minute changes more efficiently. A new Document Information Pane provides comprehensive visibility into critical document details, including markups, notes, and approval statuses.

These technological advancements target multiple industries, including manufacturing, facilities management, utilities, energy providers, and Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) sectors. By focusing on automation and seamless information integration, eQuorum aims to address growing demands for more efficient digital document management solutions.

CEO Scott Brandt emphasized the strategic importance of these updates, noting that workflow management and automation represent critical priorities for their customer base. The new features are designed to enhance operational discipline, improve document approval speed, and ensure teams have timely access to approved files.

The comprehensive update represents a significant step in digital transformation for engineering and construction-related document management. By providing tools that simplify complex workflows and enhance collaborative capabilities, eQuorum is positioning itself as a key player in improving operational efficiency across various technical industries.

Version 12.2 is scheduled for release in February 2025, with unlimited training included for deployment of the new upgrade.
