Fifty5 Rivers Celebrates Sixth Anniversary with New Cafe at Beavercreek Chamber

BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP, OH – Six years after its founding, Fifty5 Rivers is marking its anniversary with a significant expansion: the introduction of Fifty5 Rivers Cafe, set to open this fall inside the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center. The new cafe represents the company's first dine-in hospitality concept, building on its existing operations that include cold brew production, a grab-and-go coffee shop, and a mobile beverage service.

Founded in 2020 by James and Lynne Mowery, Fifty5 Rivers began with a belief that exceptional handcrafted beverages can bring people together. Over the years, the company has grown through its RIVER values—Reliability, Inspiration, Value, Education, and Respect—to serve patrons throughout the Miami Valley. The new cafe is designed as a welcoming destination for both the public and the regional business community, offering a space for conversation, collaboration, and community.

The cafe will feature Fifty5 Rivers' signature beverages, food offerings, and comfortable indoor seating. According to the co-founders, the expansion is about creating a place where connections can continue to grow. “Opening Fifty5 Rivers Cafe inside the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center is more than an expansion. It is the creation of a place where those connections can continue to grow,” they said.

The decision to partner with the Beavercreek Chamber was strategic, aligning with the company's values and the Chamber's mission to support entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth. Wendy Rodgers, President & CEO of the Beavercreek Chamber, praised Fifty5 Rivers for embodying the community-focused spirit of the Business Success Center. “Their commitment to quality, hospitality, education, and meaningful relationships aligns beautifully with our mission to create an environment where businesses and people can thrive together,” she said.

Fifty5 Rivers' evolution has been gradual, expanding from manufacturing to grab-and-go service, mobile hospitality, wholesale, and now dine-in. The company's cold brew is produced at its Fairborn facility, which also houses Conflooence by Fifty5 Rivers, a grab-and-go coffee shop. The Fifty5 Rivers BARge, a premium mobile beverage experience, serves events across the region. The new cafe complements these operations, which will continue to serve patrons.

Construction is underway, with the cafe expected to open this fall. Further details about the grand opening and operating hours will be announced later. This expansion comes at a time when local businesses are increasingly focusing on creating community-centric spaces. The cafe's location within the Chamber's Business Success Center is strategic, positioning it at the heart of the region's business community.

For the Miami Valley, the opening of Fifty5 Rivers Cafe could have broader implications. It represents a continued investment in local economic development and community engagement. The partnership between a beverage company and a chamber of commerce highlights how businesses can collaborate to strengthen local networks. As Fifty5 Rivers celebrates six years, it looks forward to continuing its mission of crafting exceptional beverages while fostering meaningful connections.

The story of Fifty5 Rivers began with a mountain biking trip in Virginia, where James Mowery first discovered cold brew coffee. That spark led to the creation of a company that now includes multiple ventures. With the addition of the cafe, Fifty5 Rivers is poised to deepen its roots in the community, offering a space where people can gather, work, and connect.

As the fall opening approaches, anticipation builds for what this new chapter will bring. For now, the company remains focused on its core values and the belief that great beverages and genuine hospitality can make a difference. The cafe is not just a business expansion; it is a testament to the power of community and the vision of its founders.
