FORTEC Group Appoints New Managing Directors Across International Subsidiaries

FORTEC Elektronik Aktiengesellschaft, a leading provider of display technology and power supply solutions, has announced a series of management appointments across its international subsidiaries. These moves are part of the company's ongoing reorganization and growth strategy, aiming to broaden the management team and devolve greater responsibility to regional divisions.

In the Czech Republic, Martin Novak assumed the role of Managing Director of FORTEC CZ on June 1, 2026. He is responsible for the existing production facility in Dysina and will oversee the planned move to a new production site and expansion. FORTEC CZ manufactures electronic assemblies and DC/DC converters, and also assembles displays with touchscreens. Novak brings over 20 years of international management experience in logistics, production, automotive, and operational management, with expertise in process optimization, change management, and organizational development.

At the US subsidiary, Paul Hooper took up the position of Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on July 1, 2026. Previously, he served as Managing Director of Sales at FORTEC UK, where he successfully reorganized and developed the business. In his new role, Hooper will focus on driving organic growth and expanding the company's market position in the US. Together with co-Managing Director Scott Makboulian, he will broaden the company's presence in North America. Hooper has over 30 years of experience in the international electronics industry.

Rhett Evans will succeed Paul Hooper at FORTEC UK starting September 8, 2026. With more than 25 years in the electronics industry, Evans brings extensive expertise in embedded computing, display technologies, and customized system solutions. His technical background in electronic engineering is complemented by years of sales and management experience.

Patrick von Unold will take over as Managing Director of FORTEC Integrated on October 1, 2026. FORTEC Integrated is an internationally active provider of display technology and embedded computing, and plays a key role in research and development within the group. Von Unold has extensive international management experience in the electronics industry, with expertise in embedded electronics, display and touch technologies, and human-machine interfaces. His background includes work in medical technology, automation, and transport.

“With the personnel decisions we have taken, we are implementing a key part of the FORTEC Group’s new growth strategy. In doing so, we are strengthening the regional divisions and giving them greater scope to respond to the specific characteristics of their respective markets, whilst at the same time benefiting from the strength of an internationally active group,” said Michael Spatny, COO of FORTEC.

These appointments reflect FORTEC's commitment to enhancing its management structure and supporting growth in key markets. By placing experienced leaders in regional roles, the company aims to improve responsiveness to local market conditions while leveraging the synergies of its global operations. The changes are expected to have significant implications for FORTEC's operational efficiency and market competitiveness.
