The letter details the closing of the Sarfartoq Neodymium-Praseodymium Rare Earths Project acquisition on Sept. 1 and ongoing development at the Skaergaard palladium-gold-platinum project. These advancements come at a time when global demand for rare earth elements and platinum group metals is surging, driven by the transition to clean energy technologies and the need for diversified supply chains outside dominant producers like China.

At Sarfartoq, an independent Initial Assessment highlights a high-case pre-tax net present value of approximately $2.05 billion, with an internal rate of return of 118.6%, including both Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources. The project's resource estimate stands at 6.9 million tonnes of Indicated resources grading 1.60% total rare earth oxides (TREO) and 5.3 million tonnes of Inferred resources at 0.96% TREO. These figures position Sarfartoq as a potentially significant supplier of neodymium and praseodymium, essential components for permanent magnets used in electric vehicles, wind turbines, and various electronics. The company also notes that Neo Performance Materials, a strategic shareholder, holds offtake rights for up to 60% of future Sarfartoq production, providing a clear market pathway and de-risking the project's output.
