HomeSphere and RM Interiors Announce Partnership to Provide Flooring Savings for Homebuilders

HomeSphere, the leading platform connecting building product manufacturers to mid-market homebuilders, has announced a new partnership with homebuilding industry service provider, RM Interiors (RMI). This collaboration grants HomeSphere’s network of over 2,700 U.S. builders access to RMI’s turnkey program, which includes sourcing and installation of vinyl plank, tile, carpet, and more from the nation’s top flooring manufacturers.

Greg Schwarzer, President and CEO of HomeSphere, highlighted the significance of this partnership by noting, "RM Interiors is one of the first HomeSphere partners to offer end-to-end purchasing and labor services. RMI installs thousands of flooring units per month across the country in both new construction and renovation projects. Now, our builders can leverage their expertise to build more homes faster and improve margins."

RMI operates as a full-service residential flooring installation partner with local warehouses and field teams across various U.S. markets. By offering products, labor, installation, and stages from local sites, HomeSphere builders can save valuable time and reduce costs on one of the most expensive line items in home construction.

Cole Bennett, Director of Business Development at RMI, emphasized the potential savings for builders. "Flooring is one of the most significant interior expenses on any construction project," Bennett said. "RMI’s system finds efficiencies by managing products, labor, and installation under one brand, and we look forward to extending those savings—and more—to HomeSphere builders."

This partnership is poised to bring significant benefits to the homebuilding industry. By integrating RMI’s comprehensive flooring solutions into HomeSphere’s extensive network, builders can expect to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. The collaboration underscores the importance of streamlining construction processes, which can lead to faster project completions and improved profit margins.

HomeSphere, established in 1999, connects local and regional homebuilders to exclusive rebate offerings. Its builder network constructs and closes more than 250,000 new homes and units per year, making it the largest homebuilding group in the country by volume. Through the HomeSphere-HQ rebate management platform, builders can capture incentives on completed homes, discover new products for future projects, and develop key relationships with over 80 manufacturers in HomeSphere’s preferred partner network.

RM Interiors, a national full-service flooring installation company, has opened 18 locations and installed carpet, vinyl, and tile in hundreds of thousands of homes and apartments across the United States over the last decade. Their extensive experience and local presence make them an ideal partner for HomeSphere, ensuring that builders have access to high-quality flooring solutions and services.
