The International Franchise Professionals Group (IFPG) has been named a finalist for the 2024 Franchising at Work Awards by Franchise Business Review. These awards recognize franchise companies with the highest employee satisfaction based on an independent survey, highlighting the importance of employee engagement in the franchising sector.
IFPG, the largest and most respected franchise broker organization, is celebrated for its inclusive culture and commitment to responsible franchising. This marks the fourth consecutive year that IFPG has received this prestigious recognition. "Being recognized as a top employer means the world to us. We consider our team family and essential to our success," said Don Daszkowski, CEO and founder of IFPG. He emphasized the rarity of long-term employee loyalty both within and outside the franchising industry, noting that many of their employees have been with the company since its inception.
In addition to this latest accolade, IFPG has consistently been recognized for excellence, earning the No. 1 ranking for franchise broker organizations on Entrepreneur magazine's Top Franchise Suppliers list for five consecutive years. "These awards are truly gratifying. They validate our efforts to always do the right thing for our clients and employees," Daszkowski added.
Franchise Business Review (FBR) specializes in benchmarking satisfaction within the franchising sector. Each year, FBR conducts surveys of corporate franchise employees, franchise supplier employees, and franchise owners' employees across North America to determine their levels of engagement. This year's Franchising at Work Employee Engagement Benchmarking research included data from over 11,000 franchise employees, with 80% being unit-level employees and 20% corporate employees.
FBR's research provides aggregate data to help franchise companies understand how their culture and engagement compare to others in the industry, thereby improving hiring and retention practices. Participants were asked questions related to job satisfaction, engagement, skills and experience, management, brand leadership, and culture.
"The Franchising at Work Awards are the only awards that recognize the companies in the franchise sector that prioritize employee engagement and well-being, and are dedicated to building and maintaining a positive culture," said Michelle Rowan, president & COO of Franchise Business Review. She explained that recruiting and retaining quality employees is crucial to a business's success, and these companies have distinguished themselves as top employers through their commitment to employee satisfaction and involvement.
IFPG President Red Boswell also expressed his excitement, stating, "I am proud to work for a company that values its employees. This is a tremendous honor. And we are truly blessed to have the most amazing team."
IFPG is a membership-based organization that connects franchise professionals, including franchise consultants, franchisors, and vendors. The company offers networking opportunities, training, and educational resources to help members grow their businesses. By ensuring high standards of professionalism and ethics, IFPG aims to elevate the entire franchise community and contribute to its members' success.
