Judith Schumacher-Tilton, president of Schumacher Chevrolet Auto Group, has been honored as one of the 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry by Automotive News, a prestigious recognition of her substantial impact on the automotive sector.
The biennial list, published every five years since 2000, identifies female executives who demonstrate significant leadership and decision-making influence within the automotive industry. This year's compilation includes professionals from diverse automotive sectors, such as engineering, mobility, manufacturing, marketing, finance, dealership management, and design.
Schumacher-Tilton's recognition extends beyond her professional achievements. As New Jersey's largest volume Chevrolet dealer, she operates five Chevrolet and one Buick dealership across northern New Jersey. Her industry leadership includes serving as chairman of the Chevrolet LMA Board and past chairman of the General Motors Women's Dealer Advisory Council.
Her accomplishments include multiple notable honors, such as being nominated for TIME Dealer of the Year in 2012—becoming the first female from New Jersey to compete for this award. She subsequently won the Northeast Regional TIME Dealer of the Year title and was among the national finalists.
