The 6th Annual Boat Show on the Bay returns to USS Alabama Memorial Park in Mobile from March 27-29, 2026, featuring an expanded entertainment lineup headlined by singer-songwriter Justin Jeansonne with special guest Ryan Dyer. The event will include over 100 vendors and boat dealers, an inshore fishing tournament, corn hole tournament, and various family-friendly activities at the waterfront location at 2703 Battleship Pkwy.
Justin Jeansonne will perform live on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 7:30 pm to 9 pm, following Ryan Dyer's performance from 6 pm to 7 pm. Jeansonne, a former United States Marine Corps member who discovered his musical passion after service, brings a distinctive sound rooted in country music with southern Alabama soul and rock influences. He performs with bandmates including harmonica musician Dayton Olson, drummer Dylan Heflin, and bass player Maison Faulk.
Saturday's programming has been enhanced with Power Meets Play Day, sponsored by Gulf Coast Suzuki, featuring high-performance boats and marine engines alongside continuous entertainment. The event maintains a balance between adrenaline-fueled activities and family-friendly programming throughout the weekend. Tickets for the concert are available through Eventbrite.
The boat show operates as a kid and pet friendly event with hours scheduled from 12–6 PM on Friday, 9 AM–6 PM on Saturday with concert programming extending to 10 PM, and 9 AM–5 PM on Sunday. Event organizers have coordinated with numerous exhibitors and sponsors, with details available through the official exhibitors page and sponsors page.
This event represents significant cultural and economic activity for the Gulf Coast region, combining marine industry exhibitions with musical entertainment that celebrates local talent. The inclusion of a former Marine-turned-musician as headliner adds a distinctive narrative to the event, while the expanded vendor participation and family programming demonstrate growth in regional event tourism. The boat show serves as both an industry showcase and community gathering, highlighting the intersection of marine commerce and coastal culture that defines the Mobile area.
The combination of marine industry exhibitions with live entertainment creates a multidimensional event that appeals to both industry professionals and general audiences. This approach reflects broader trends in experiential marketing within the marine industry, where product demonstrations are enhanced by entertainment and community activities. For attendees, the event provides access to both recreational boating resources and cultural programming in a single waterfront setting, maximizing the value of their participation while supporting local businesses and artists.
