Laser Photonics Corporation (LPC) (NASDAQ: LASE) is making waves in the laser-processing industry through a series of strategic partnerships aimed at expanding its market reach. The Orlando, Florida-based company, known for its innovative laser-based solutions, has recently inked deals with Brokk Inc., Fastenal Company, and Incredible Supply & Logistics (ISL).
The laser-processing market, valued at $20.64 billion in 2022, is expected to grow to $44.02 billion by 2032, according to Precedence Research. In a notable move, Laser Photonics has entered into a technology partnership with Brokk Inc., a leading manufacturer of remote-controlled robotic machines. This collaboration aims to integrate LPC's laser cleaning and cutting technology into Brokk's robots, enhancing their capability to handle heavy and hazardous tasks in industries such as mining, tunneling, and nuclear disposal. Brokk's Executive Vice President for Nuclear, Military, Security and Rescue, Tony Marlow, emphasized the value of this technological partnership, stating that it will add LPC's advanced laser cutting and surface cleaning technology to Brokk's state-of-the-art arsenal, further solidifying their leadership in the market.
LPC has also entered a distribution agreement with Fastenal Company (NASDAQ: FAST), the largest fastener distributor in North America. This partnership will leverage Fastenal's extensive distribution network to offer LPC's CleanTech line of laser systems, which include laser cleaning technology capable of removing contaminants and corrosion without damaging the underlying material. Fastenal's Regional VP, Troy Parkos, pointed out that the demand for laser technologies, including laser cleaning systems, has been significant among their clients.
Furthermore, Laser Photonics has partnered with Incredible Supply & Logistics (ISL), a company specialized in supporting federal government customers and defense contractors. This partnership will help LPC expand its reach in the defense industry by providing ISL's clients with cutting-edge industrial laser solutions. The collaboration was showcased at The Technology Showcase in Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where LPC demonstrated its laser systems' capabilities in rust control, corrosion control, and coating removal.
