Mr. Ballesteros is a Certified Public Accountant and accomplished executive with a proven track record of nearly 20 years in technical, operational, and strategic finance. His experience spans various key roles in the finance industry, making him a valuable addition to the NIA's senior leadership team.
Prior to joining NIA, Mr. Ballesteros dedicated a decade of his career to Green Dot Corporation, where he held multiple finance roles culminating in his position as Vice President of Finance. In this capacity, he led the financial planning and analysis team and spearheaded numerous company initiatives. His expertise in financial planning and strategic execution is expected to bring substantial benefits to NIA.
Before his tenure at Green Dot Corporation, Mr. Ballesteros spent nine years at Ernst & Young LLP in the audit practice. As a Senior Manager, he led local and multinational teams primarily within the real estate, hospitality, and construction sectors. This diverse background has equipped him with a broad understanding of various industries, further enhancing his capability to drive NIA's financial initiatives.
