The PNE Group has sold another large photovoltaic (PV) project in South Africa, the company announced. The project, located in the Free State province, has a planned nominal capacity of 250 MW and was sold to a major South African independent power producer.
PNE South Africa will continue to develop the project following the sale, providing project development support to the investor through to Financial Close. This continued involvement allows PNE to contribute its expertise to the project's further development, according to the company.
