PreAxia Launches Zane AI-Powered Personal Finance Platform in Canada

PreAxia Health Care Payment Systems Inc. (OTC: PAXH) announced the soft launch of Zane, a personal finance management mobile platform developed under its wholly owned subsidiary Zane Inc. The first phase is scheduled to begin in June 2026 via an invite-only iOS release to a limited group of early adopters, with a general availability for Android planned for Q3 2026. Zane aims to address financial literacy and security challenges by offering a proprietary AI-assisted, chat-based experience that simplifies everyday money management.

Phase 1 introduces core financial services, including instant account opening, physical, digital, and virtual prepaid Visa payment cards, online and in-store payments where Visa is accepted, fund transfers, access to over 36,000 ATMs across Canada, a single aggregated view of external bank accounts via Yodlee, intelligent transaction categorization, and conversational AI assistance. Users can sign up for updates at zanemoney.com.

Pavel Bondarev, CEO of Zane Inc., stated, “One of the significant challenges facing consumers today is financial literacy and security. We are building Zane to help them build and grow quickly their emergency funds and take better control of their financial lives through a simplified, intelligent experience that increases financial awareness and education.” The soft launch is a foundational step, with future features to be developed based on user feedback and regulatory requirements.

Zane is launching in Canada with plans to expand into the United States beginning in 2027. The platform’s ecosystem includes partnerships with Digital Commerce Bank (via Pateno Payments Inc.), Visa, and Yodlee. Zane is registered with the Bank of Canada as a Payment Service Provider under the Retail Payment Activities Act and as a Money Services Business with FINTRAC. These registrations confirm compliance with specific regulatory frameworks but do not constitute a guarantee of financial solvency or insure user funds against loss; funds held in prepaid accounts may not be eligible for CDIC protection.

Zane targets consumers seeking better ways to save, invest, and manage finances. By integrating user experience, embedded finance, conversational AI, and intelligent decisioning tools, the platform aims to establish a sustainable ecosystem prioritizing financial well-being. Revenue streams include interchange, premium enhancements, and future licensing. PreAxia, a development-stage technology company, is advancing its commercialization roadmap through Zane’s soft launch, though the company faces risks including the need for additional capital, regulatory approvals, and market adoption.
