REPLOID Announces 1:15 Stock Split to Boost Retail Investor Accessibility

REPLOID Group AG (ISIN: AT0000A3HRX5), an Austrian company specializing in industrial insect-rearing systems, has announced plans to split its shares at a ratio of 1:15. The move is designed to enhance the tradability of the company's stock, which recently traded at approximately 1,700 euros per share. If the split were implemented today, the price per share would drop to roughly 113 euros, making it more accessible to a broader range of investors, especially retail participants.

The proposal will be submitted for approval at the Annual General Meeting scheduled for September 14, 2026. As a result of the stock split, the number of shares will increase from 110,881 to 1,663,215, with each no-par value share continuing to represent a proportionate amount of share capital of EUR 1.00. This adjustment is intended to make the stock more liquid and attractive to individual investors who may have been deterred by the high nominal value.

Philip Pauer, CEO and founder of REPLOID, commented: "REPLOID shares most recently traded at 1,700 euros. If we split today, the price would come in at roughly 113 euros. That's exactly our goal: to make REPLOID stock easier to trade and more attractive, particularly for retail investors."

As a precondition for the stock split, the Annual General Meeting is expected to resolve on an increase in share capital from company funds, meaning no new shares will be issued. The share capital is to be increased from the current EUR 110,881 to EUR 1,663,215. This capital increase will be carried out by converting a portion of the unrestricted capital reserves, which were built up from the increase in equity achieved during the 2025 fiscal year.

The stock split is a strategic move by REPLOID to broaden its shareholder base and improve market liquidity. By lowering the share price, the company aims to attract retail investors who may have previously found the stock too expensive to purchase in significant quantities. This could lead to increased trading volume and potentially greater market visibility for the company, which has been listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange's direct market plus segment since July 2025 under the ticker symbol HRX5.

REPLOID operates in the circular economy sector, offering innovative systems for the industrial utilization of regional organic residues from the food industry. The company builds and services modular and scalable insect-rearing plants, known as REPLOID ReFarmUnits, where Black Soldier Fly larvae are reared using site-specific feed mixes developed from residual materials. The larvae and their by-products are then sold to customers in the animal feed industry or further processed into proteins and fats. Additionally, the company produces premium organic fertilizer from insect frass, a by-product of the rearing process.

With a global focus and a workforce of over 190 employees, REPLOID is positioned to contribute to resource conservation through decentralized upcycling. The stock split is part of the company's broader strategy to increase its accessibility to investors and support its growth in the sustainable agriculture and waste management sectors.
