Resona Health Launches Memory Room, a Free Daily Game That Tests How Much You Really Notice

Resona Health has launched Memory Room, a free daily game designed to help players sharpen their memory and attention in about a minute a day, the company announced. The game is available now in any web browser on a phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to download and no account required to play.

The premise is simple and, according to the company, surprisingly hard to master. Players step into a room for just 20 seconds. Then the room disappears, and six quick multiple-choice questions ask what they actually saw. Anything in the room might matter, from the color of a lamp to the time on a clock to the number of books on a shelf. Some rooms add video and sound, so players must listen as well as look. A new room opens every day at midnight Eastern.

The game matters beyond entertainment because it turns an everyday lapse into a measurable challenge. "We walk through rooms all day long and assume we're taking it all in," said Mark L Fox, founder of Resona Health and author of The Memory Room. "Then someone asks a simple question about what was on the table, and you realize you have no idea. Memory Room turns that moment into a game. It takes about a minute, it's a little humbling, and most people want to come back tomorrow to do better."

Memory Room is built around a four-step loop: players look at the room for 20 seconds, answer six questions after it vanishes, compare their answers with how other players responded to the same room once enough people have played, and return for a brand-new room each day. Players can track a streak and personal best and challenge friends with a shareable link. First-timers can warm up in a practice room that does not count toward their score.

The game takes its name from Fox's book The Memory Room, an Amazon #1 Bestselling Book and #1 Hot New Release that ranked #1 in Brain Diseases, Nursing Home Care and Medical eBooks. The book is available free to readers, and the game carries forward its theme of the moments and details people hold onto and the ones that slip past them.

Memory Room is designed for anyone 13 and older who enjoys a quick daily challenge, from puzzle fans who already have a morning game routine to families looking for something to play and compare together. The daily format and shareable results give it a social dimension that could draw households and friend groups into comparing how much each person noticed.

Resona Health, Resona Health, is a wellness technology company founded by Fox, a former Space Shuttle chief engineer and best-selling author. His book Go Find Joy was also an Amazon #1 Best-Selling Book and #1 Hot New Release, ranking #1 in Energy Healing and Animal Care & Pets and #2 in Alternative Therapies. He is also the author of Da Vinci and the 40 Answers.
