Shincheonji Church Hosts Major Bible Seminar in Paris, Aiming to Revitalize Christianity in Europe

On June 15th, Shincheonji New Heaven New Earth Church of Jesus hosted a Bible seminar in Paris, France, in response to growing demand from pastors seeking to revive Christianity in Europe. The event attracted around 7,000 attendees, including approximately 1,000 pastors, highlighting the substantial interest in the subject.

The Paris seminar is part of the 2024 Continental Word Seminar series, which began on April 20th in the Philippines. These seminars offer believers worldwide a clear explanation of the prophecies' fulfillment in the Book of Revelation. During the main event, Shincheonji Church Chairman Lee Man-hee delivered a lecture titled, "Testimony on Fulfilled Realities of Revelation." Chairman Lee emphasized, "God's work is accomplished according to this Book of Revelation, the Book of Revelation that cannot be added to or subtracted from."

The timing of this seminar is crucial as European society has become progressively more industrialized and secular. Traditional Christian values are being overshadowed by liberal theology, atheism, and religious pluralism. The Center for the Study of Global Christianity at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary projects that the total number of Christians in Europe will decline to 490 million by 2050.

However, the Shincheonji Church remains optimistic about reversing this trend. Following the seminar, many European pastors expressed interest in learning more about the Book of Revelation. A Shincheonji Church official noted, "In addition to preparing places and programs where they can learn, we will expand the platform where they can learn by further activating Zion Christian Mission Centers located in various European countries."

The Zion Christian Mission Center, which has produced over 100,000 graduates annually in recent years, offers comprehensive teachings on all 22 chapters of Revelation. As of May 2024, the Mission Center has 5,614 pastors enrolled in its free Bible course.

Moreover, Shincheonji Church has established significant global connections, signing MOUs with 12,538 churches in 83 countries as of June 5th. Notably, 1,341 churches in 41 countries have rebranded their signboards to align with Shincheonji Church.

The seminar and subsequent educational initiatives by Shincheonji Church could mark a pivotal moment for Christianity in Europe. By providing in-depth knowledge and fostering a renewed interest in biblical teachings, particularly the Book of Revelation, the Church aims to counter secular trends and inspire a spiritual revival across the continent.
