Recent demonstrations of the system's capabilities include an eight-hour session on February 14, 2026, during which 18 inter-hospital telesurgeries were performed between two Indian cities. These procedures included 13 gastric bypass surgeries conducted by Dr. Mohit Bhandari from Mohak Bariatrics and Robotics in Indore and 5 complex gynecological surgeries performed by Dr. Priya Bhave Chittawar from HER Health Hospital in Bhopal. All surgeries utilized the SSi MantrAsana Tele Surgeon Console, a compact chair-based version of the larger command center that enables portability and requires less space, facilitating telesurgeries from various settings including physician offices.

This achievement follows a previous robotic telesurgery marathon on December 23, 2025, where nine surgeons performed 24 telesurgeries within 12 hours on patients across multiple Indian locations. Those procedures encompassed ten different types of surgeries, including intricate cardiac operations. The SSi Mantra system features modular robotic arms, an open-faced ergonomic surgeon command center, a large 3D 4K monitor, and supports over 40 different types of robotic endo-surgical instruments for various specialties including cardiac surgery. The system has been clinically validated in India in more than 100 different surgical procedures.
