StakeKit Partners with Ledger Live to Launch TRON Stake 2.0

StakeKit, a leading provider of self-custodial staking solutions, has announced the launch of its TRON Stake 2.0 integration on Ledger Live. This partnership aims to streamline the staking process for TRON users, allowing them to manage their staking allocations directly within the Ledger Live platform. This integration simplifies the staking and unstaking process to just three taps, making it more accessible for users.

TRON Stake 2.0, which was launched on the mainnet in April 2023, offers several new benefits compared to the previous version. Users can now receive additional benefits from validation staking, unstake partial amounts, and unstake their tokens at any time, providing unprecedented flexibility and control. Given that the older TRON Stake 1.0 model is no longer supported, users are advised to transition their stakes to the TRON 2.0 model, a process that can be easily completed within Ledger Live.

Serafin Lion Engel, CEO of StakeKit, expressed excitement about the integration, stating, “We’re very excited to finally bring TRON Stake 2.0 into Ledger Live and enable users to delegate their TRON in the easiest and most secure way possible. We know that this was a hotly anticipated feature for members of the TRON ecosystem, and we are very proud to have worked with the Ledger team on delivering this integration to TRON users and community members.”

The integration also addresses the needs of the significant portion of the TRON community still utilizing TRON Stake 1.0. Engel added, “We recognize that a significant portion of the TRON community still utilizes TRON Stake 1.0. As such we have also built support for Tron users to un-delegate from TRON 1.0, and quickly leverage the benefits of TRON Stake 2.0.”

The immediate availability of TRON Stake 2.0 on Ledger Live marks a significant milestone for both StakeKit and the TRON community. For more information about Ledger Live and to download the application, users can visit their website.

TRON DAO, the organization behind the TRON network, has been a major player in the blockchain space since its founding in 2017 by H.E. Justin Sun. The network boasts over 244 million total user accounts, more than 8 billion total transactions, and over $20 billion in total value locked (TVL). TRON has also been recognized for hosting the largest circulating supply of USD Tether (USDT) stablecoin globally and for its partnership with the Commonwealth of Dominica to develop its national blockchain infrastructure.

This integration is a significant development for the TRON ecosystem, offering users a more flexible and user-friendly staking experience. It underscores StakeKit's commitment to enhancing self-custodial staking solutions and TRON's ongoing efforts to drive decentralization and blockchain adoption.
