SuperReturn, known for its leading series of private capital events, has unveiled the agenda and initial speaker line-up for its annual SuperInvestor conference, set to take place at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo, Monaco, from November 5-8, 2024. The event is expected to attract over 3,000 decision-makers, including senior LPs and leading GPs from more than 60 countries, making it one of the most significant gatherings in the private equity sphere.
The conference will feature more than 200 speakers and thought leaders who will discuss the latest challenges and opportunities in areas such as fundraising, secondaries, LP allocations, and co-investments. Among the notable speakers is Nico Rosberg, a former Formula One World Champion and CEO of Rosberg Ventures. Rosberg, who has won the Monaco Grand Prix three times, will share his journey from being an F1 champion to becoming a successful business entrepreneur.
Other distinguished speakers include Dana Haimoff from JP Morgan Asset Management, Dörte Höppner from The Riverside Company, Yalin Karadogan from LeapFrog Investments, Lindsey McMurray from Pollen Street Capital, Cem Meric from LGT Capital Partners, Imogen Richards from Pantheon, and Miriam Schmitter from CF Private Equity. Each of these leaders brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, promising to offer valuable insights into the private equity landscape.
Taking place in Monaco for the first time, the venue offers ample meeting spaces and outdoor areas, providing attendees with unparalleled networking opportunities. Dorothy Kelso, Global Head of SuperReturn, highlighted the significance of the new location, stating, "With 80% of the audience expected to be C-level/directors/partners and with more ways to connect than ever before, there will be no better place to catch up with industry friends, make new connections, and share notes for success in private markets investing."
The agenda, available here, will continue to be updated with more speakers in the coming weeks. The event will also include four one-day specialist summits on November 5, focusing on fundraising, investing in sports, private debt, and secondaries. These summits aim to facilitate deeper connections among GPs and LPs with shared interests.
Sponsors for this year's event include PitchBook, KBRA, Akin, and MGG Investment Group. This sponsorship underscores the event's importance and the high level of industry engagement it attracts.
The SuperInvestor conference serves as a critical platform for private equity professionals to discuss current trends, share insights, and explore new opportunities in the global private markets. The gathering in Monaco is set to be a landmark event, providing a unique blend of high-level discussions and networking in a prestigious setting.
