Swarmer Expands European Software Contract, Adds $1.02 Million in Expected Revenue

Swarmer Inc. (NASDAQ: SWMR), a defense technology company specializing in autonomous drone coordination software, announced an amendment to its May 2026 software licensing agreement that increases the total contract value to $3.87 million and is expected to generate an additional $1.02 million in revenue. The revised agreement expands the company's footprint in European markets and broadens deployment of its drone autonomy software.

Under the amended terms, Czech-based Progress TRW S.R.O. will purchase $1.41 million in SkyKnight software licenses, while Meta Bureau LLC increased its original autonomy software order from $1.38 million to $2.47 million. If all contract options are exercised by Meta Bureau and Progress TRW, the agreement could reach a total value of $14.20 million. The licenses cover Swarmer’s software platform, including its operating system, artificial intelligence and user interface technologies.

The expanded partnership is significant as it demonstrates growing demand for Swarmer's vendor-agnostic software that allows one operator to control hundreds of autonomous platforms in real time. Swarmer is not a drone manufacturer but operates at the intelligence layer, developing autonomy, coordination and decision-making software that enables large numbers of low-cost unmanned systems to operate collectively as one coherent force. This approach reduces dependency on any single hardware platform or lifecycle.

Swarmer's technology has been rigorously validated in real-world combat environments. First deployed in combat operations in Ukraine in April 2024, the software has since completed more than 100,000 combat missions, generating terabytes of proprietary data that informs its machine-learning models. This continuous stream of telemetry, sensor data and operational feedback is used to refine performance, increase resilience and accelerate learning.

The implications of this contract expansion are substantial for the defense industry. As unmanned systems become increasingly central to modern warfare, the ability to coordinate large swarms of drones autonomously offers a strategic advantage. Swarmer's software enables the replication of advanced pilot performance at scale, potentially reducing the need for human operators in dangerous environments and increasing operational efficiency.

For the European market, this agreement signals a growing appetite for advanced drone autonomy solutions among defense contractors and government agencies. The involvement of Czech-based Progress TRW and Meta Bureau LLC suggests that Swarmer's technology is gaining traction in Central and Eastern Europe, regions with heightened security concerns.

Investors and industry observers will be watching to see whether the full contract options are exercised, which would bring the total value to $14.20 million and further validate Swarmer's business model. The company's focus on software rather than hardware allows it to scale rapidly without the capital-intensive constraints of manufacturing.

Swarmer maintains headquarters in Austin, Texas, with operations and teams in Ukraine, Poland and Estonia. For more information, visit the company's website at https://getswarmer.com/. The full press release can be viewed at https://ibn.fm/szkEC.
