Waterfall Network Partners with InfStones, Showcases Unprecedented Decentralization and Growth

Waterfall Network, known for its innovative layer one (L1) decentralized and scalable ledger, has announced a significant integration with InfStones, a leading provider of enterprise-grade node management services. This partnership aims to enhance Waterfall's infrastructure, making it easier for participants to engage in the decentralized economy.

During a recent AMA session, Waterfall Network and InfStones discussed the benefits of this integration and celebrated key milestones achieved since Waterfall's mainnet launch last month. One of the most striking accomplishments was Waterfall's participation in the Google Startup Cloud program, where it was tested with over 1.5 million validators operating simultaneously across five continents. This rigorous testing demonstrated Waterfall's unmatched ability to maintain a decentralized and scalable network, setting a new standard in the industry.

"To our knowledge, no other technology has been tested with this many validators, making Waterfall a pioneer in achieving decentralization at this level," stated Sergii Grybniak, Head of Research at Waterfall Network. Despite these accomplishments, Waterfall remains committed to keeping its hardware requirements low, allowing for broader participation in the decentralized economy.

Since its mainnet public launch, Waterfall Network has added 4901 new validators and achieved a 339 percent growth in total volume locked (TVL). This rapid expansion underscores the network's ability to combine scalability and decentralization, two features that are often challenging to achieve simultaneously. Utilizing innovative Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) technology, Waterfall enables parallel processing on multiple levels, ensuring unparalleled scalability without compromising decentralization.

Partnering with InfStones provides Waterfall Network with robust infrastructure support, enhancing its scalability and reliability. InfStones' secure and scalable node management services make it easier to deploy and manage validator nodes, further decentralizing the network while maintaining efficiency. This empowers developers and participants to seamlessly engage with Waterfall's decentralized ecosystem.

Ann Jiang, Business Development Specialist at InfStones, remarked, "Integrating with Waterfall has been a fantastic experience. Our goal is to lower the barriers for people who may not have extensive technical knowledge, empowering them to run nodes effortlessly. Together, we share a vision of driving the blockchain ecosystem forward."

The AMA session also highlighted Waterfall's adoption of the Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism, which contrasts sharply with the resource-intensive Proof of Work (PoW) systems like Bitcoin. Jeff McDonald, Community Strategist at Waterfall Network, emphasized the accessibility of running a node on Waterfall, making it simple for more participants to join the decentralized economy.

The AMA also covered the attractive incentives currently offered to Waterfall validators. The current rate presents an exponential opportunity, requiring 32,000 $WATER coins to become a validator with an annual percentage rate (APR) of more than 100 percent. "The rewards for validators are exceptional right now," McDonald noted. "It's a great opportunity for anyone interested in contributing to the network."

Looking ahead, Waterfall Network remains committed to its core values of enhancing decentralization and scalability. Through strategic partnerships and exponential growth, Waterfall aims to set the stage for the next generation of Web3 applications.
