Christine Whitney Sanchez, who served as the Chief Culture Officer for Enterprise Technology at Arizona State University (ASU), has announced her retirement. Over her five-year tenure, Sanchez has been a transformative force, significantly shaping a values-led culture within the organization that is expected to have a lasting impact.

She aims to share her expertise with leaders to help organizations foster trust, collaboration, and transformative leadership while also focusing on empowering women to achieve their professional goals.

Sanchez joined ASU with a bold vision aimed at transforming the organizational culture from within. Her inclusive and participatory approach encouraged widespread engagement, leading to significant positive changes in the work environment. Her initiatives, such as the Positive Core Values and Leadership Principles, have been instrumental in building a more resilient, adaptable, and human-centered organization.
Through initiatives like the Culture Weavers Community of Practice, Culture Ripples, and the T4 Leadership Academy, Sanchez created spaces for meaningful connection, reflection, and growth. Her leadership, characterized by compassion and kindness, fostered a deeper sense of belonging and empowered everyone to contribute their best.
"Christine's efforts in promoting ethical behavior, continuous learning, and responsible innovation have been particularly impactful," added Gonick. "Her work has set the standard for advancing our mission at ASU."
As Sanchez steps down from her role, her legacy will continue to influence leaders globally. She is focused on her upcoming book, "Wake Up Your Organization: How Enlightened Organizations Prosper, Nurture Wellbeing and Heal the World." Additionally, she will be speaking and consulting on topics such as The Hidden Edge of Feminine Energy within Billion Dollar Industries, AI meets Ancient Wisdom, and Building Enlightened Organizations.
