Duraline, a manufacturer of safety-engineered electrical distribution systems, has expanded its in-house machine shop with the addition of a Eurotech Ultima B620 51-SLY multi-axis CNC machine at its DeLand, Florida manufacturing facility. The company announced the upgrade on September 14, 2026, stating that the new equipment replaces an older machining system with limited automation and bar-length capacity. Duraline expects the investment to increase productivity in its single-pole connector production by up to 40%.

The Eurotech Ultima offers significantly greater automation and the ability to process longer brass bar stock. It incorporates main and sub-spindles, live tooling, a 15-station turret, bar-feeder capabilities, tool monitoring, and automated part evacuation, enabling more continuous and efficient production. According to Duraline, precision-machined brass components are critical to many of its single-pole connector products, and improving the efficiency of manufacturing these components strengthens the entire production process.

“The addition of the Eurotech Ultima represents another step in our continued investment in American manufacturing,” a company spokesperson said. “By increasing automation and expanding our machining capabilities, we expect to improve single-pole connector productivity by as much as 40% while maintaining the quality and manufacturing control our customers expect from Duraline.”

The ability to run longer bar stock with less operator intervention will also allow Duraline’s skilled machine shop team to spend more time on production management, setup, inspection, and quality control, while reducing repetitive handling during longer production runs. The company continues to perform machining, molding, soldering, crimping, assembly, and other manufacturing operations at its DeLand facility.
