ESGold Expands Geophysical Survey at Montauban, Aiming to Unlock District-Scale Potential

ESGold Corp. (CSE: ESAU) (OTCQB: ESAUF) has announced the launch of a 70 square kilometers district-scale Ambient Noise Topography (ANT) survey at its flagship Montauban Gold-Silver Project in Québec, marking a significant expansion of exploration efforts at the site. The survey represents the second phase of a geophysical program, following an initial 10 square kilometer survey completed in 2025. Results from that earlier survey formed the basis of ESGold’s integrated 3D geological model, which has been instrumental in highlighting the full potential of the Montauban district.

“This next phase marks an important step in defining the full scale of Montauban,” said Gordon Robb, ESGold’s CEO. “Our initial ANT survey and integrated 3D model revealed a deep and expanding mineralized corridor extending to approximately 900 meters and over at least two kilometers of strike. The expanded 70 square kilometer program is seven times larger than our initial survey and represents the most comprehensive geophysical assessment ever conducted across the Montauban district.”

The Montauban property, located 80 kilometers west of Quebec City, is a fully permitted, pre-production resource that serves as a model for responsible mining practices. ESGold is advancing the project toward production and feasibility while combining near-term production with district-scale discovery potential. The company is at the forefront of clean mining and exploration innovation, with proven expertise in Quebec.

The expanded ANT survey is expected to provide critical data to further refine the 3D geological model and identify new drill targets. By covering a much larger area, the survey aims to define the full scale of the mineralized system, which could have significant implications for the company’s resource base and future production plans. The results will be integral in guiding further exploration and development activities at Montauban.

For investors, this development underscores ESGold’s commitment to systematically unlocking the value of its flagship asset. The initial survey already revealed a deep mineralized corridor, and the expanded survey could potentially extend that corridor or identify new zones of mineralization. The company’s focus on sustainable resource recovery and exploration aligns with broader industry trends toward responsible mining.
