Jamil Hasan Launches Six Institutional Programs to Put Governance Ideas Into Practice

Author, podcaster, and former financial services executive Jamil Hasan has announced six institutional offerings focused on leadership, governance, stewardship, and human-centered organizational decision-making. The launch follows the completion of five nonfiction books between June and October 2026: People Are People, Inheriting Saturn, Riding It All to Zero, Animals, Monsters, and Unclaimed Baggage, and The Lambs Lie Down.

The works collectively examine the relationships among humanity, personal responsibility, risk, institutional authority, and the obligations of leadership. The latest book, The Lambs Lie Down, introduces an eight-step governance framework built around four principles: Trust, Protection, Consensus, and Stewardship. The framework provides a structured approach to examining how institutional power operates, where responsibility resides, who benefits from decisions, who bears their consequences, and whether organizational conduct remains faithful to its stated purpose.

“Institutions do not become more human simply by declaring their values,” Hasan said. “They become more human when those values survive difficult decisions, competing interests, and the pressures that test leadership.”

The six newly introduced offerings include Governing for a More Human Tomorrow, an eight-step framework for evaluating institutional governance, accountability, and stewardship; THRIVES — Rediscovering Humanity, exploring the human foundations of leadership and organizational purpose; and the STEWARD Program, a seven-part leadership framework emphasizing stewardship, trust, purposeful change, systems thinking, adaptation, resilience, and defending what matters. Additional programs include Emotional Assets — People Create Enduring Value, which examines the human dimensions of value creation and organizational relationships; RECLAIM — Paint What’s Invisible, encouraging deeper perception, reflection, and purposeful transformation; and Stewardship Conversations — Bigger Questions. Brighter Tomorrows., facilitated discussions exploring institutional responsibility, leadership, and the future.

The programs can be delivered through keynote presentations, executive workshops, seminars, leadership retreats, board strategy sessions, and consulting engagements. Drawing on his financial services background, experience in digital transformation, and conversations with founders and innovators through his Crypto Hipster podcast, Hasan has developed an approach that connects institutional decision-making with its human consequences.

“Writing the books was about developing the ideas,” Hasan said. “The institutional offerings are about putting those ideas to work.”

The announcement matters for leaders and organizations under pressure to demonstrate accountability, because it offers a structured way to test whether governance values hold up when decisions are difficult. Rather than treating stewardship as a statement of intent, the framework asks institutions to trace who benefits and who bears consequences, a question with direct implications for boards, executives, and the people affected by organizational choices. The Lambs Lie Down is available in paperback on Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/dp/1972991140.
