Motel 6 is set to strengthen its presence in the entertainment capital of the world with a new 295-room property located just over a mile from the iconic Las Vegas Strip. The hotel, owned by S.R.E Enterprises LLC and anticipated to open in May 2025, represents a significant milestone for G6 Hospitality's strategic expansion plan.
The new exterior-corridor property will offer modern amenities including flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi, free parking, and an outdoor pool, positioning itself as an attractive option for both business and leisure travelers. Its proximity to the OYO Hotel and Casino provides additional convenience for guests seeking an affordable and accessible Las Vegas experience.
This expansion comes at a time of robust tourism in Las Vegas, with the city welcoming approximately 41.7 million visitors in 2024 and 3.4 million tourists in December alone. The strategic location and planned renovations suggest G6 Hospitality is capitalizing on the city's consistent visitor appeal.
The new property is part of a broader growth strategy for G6 Hospitality, which was recently acquired by global travel tech company OYO. The company has ambitious plans to add over 150 hotels in 2025 under the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands, targeting key markets including Texas, California, Georgia, and Arizona.
To support this expansion, G6 Hospitality is investing $10 million in marketing efforts, focusing on enhancing digital platforms like its website and My6 app. The company aims to quadruple app installations before the summer season and implement advanced digital targeting strategies through partnerships with platforms like Google and Microsoft.
The Las Vegas property also reflects G6 Hospitality's commitment to providing accessible, quality lodging. Recently recognized in the 2024 Entrepreneur Franchise 500® report and named a Leader in Diversity by Dallas Business Journal, the company continues to demonstrate its strategic approach to growth and hospitality innovation.
