Silvercorp Metals Reports High-Grade Gold Discoveries at Kyrgyzstan Project

Silvercorp Metals Inc. (TSX: SVM) (NYSE American: SVM) has announced the first batch of drill results from its fully permitted Tulkubash/Kyzyltash gold projects in Kyrgyzstan, revealing significant new gold structures. The results, covering 29 diamond drill holes spanning 3,640 meters along the Main Zone (MZ), highlight the project's potential for resource expansion and further underscore the company's growth strategy.

Among the standout intercepts, hole DH26M687 intersected a combined 212.5 meters grading 1.68 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, including four mineralized structures, two of which are newly identified. This indicates that the mineralized system extends beyond previously known zones, potentially adding to the project's overall resource base. Another hole, DH26M686, intersected six structures, including a high-grade interval of 39 meters at 4.79 g/t gold, with a sub-interval of 6 meters at 22.23 g/t gold. Additionally, hole DH26M818 returned a combined 47 meters at 3.95 g/t gold, including 13.5 meters at 8.04 g/t gold.

These drill results are particularly important as they confirm the continuity and high-grade nature of the gold mineralization at Kyzyltash, which is part of Silvercorp's broader portfolio. The company, a Canadian miner producing silver, gold, lead, and zinc, has a long history of profitability and growth potential. Its strategy focuses on generating free cash flow from long-life mines, organic growth through extensive drilling for discovery, ongoing merger and acquisition efforts, and a long-term commitment to responsible mining and ESG practices.

The Kyzyltash project is fully permitted, which reduces development risk and could accelerate the path to production. For investors, these results suggest that Silvercorp is successfully executing its exploration-led growth strategy, potentially enhancing shareholder value through resource expansion. The discovery of new structures also implies the possibility of extending mine life or increasing production capacity, which could positively impact the company's financial performance.

The broader mining industry may also take note, as these results demonstrate the potential for high-grade gold discoveries in the Kyrgyz Republic, a region not traditionally known for such finds. This could attract further investment into Central Asian mining projects.

Silvercorp's commitment to ESG is also noteworthy, as responsible mining practices are increasingly important to investors and stakeholders. The company's focus on generating free cash flow from long-life mines suggests a sustainable approach to resource development.
