Trailbreaker Resources Completes Maiden Drill Program at Swan Zone, Atsutla Gold Project

Trailbreaker Resources Ltd. (TBK.V) has announced the completion of its maiden drill program at the Swan Zone, part of the company's 100%-owned Atsutla Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia, Canada. The program, which consisted of two diamond drill holes totaling 801.00 metres, marks a significant step in testing the project's potential for hosting economically significant mineralization.

The Swan Zone is a Cu-Au-Ag (copper-gold-silver) porphyry target identified through coincident geochemical and geophysical anomalies. The drilling aimed to test a strike length of 1,000 metres and a vertical extent of 395 metres. This work follows a separate drill program at the Highlands Zone, a high-grade vein-hosted gold target, which tested a strike length of 500 metres and a vertical extent of 412 metres with four holes totaling 883.40 metres. The two zones are 26 kilometres apart and are hosted in entirely different geological units: the Highlands Zone in the Jurassic Christmas Creek batholith and the Swan Zone in the Cretaceous Glundebery batholith.

The completion of these drill programs is a critical milestone for Trailbreaker, as it represents the first time the company has tested these targets since their discovery in 2020. The Swan Zone, in particular, is defined by a 1.5 km x 1.5 km multi-element soil geochemical anomaly (Au-Cu-Ag-As-Mo-Sb-Bi) that coincides with a 2.1 km x 1.4 km donut-shaped chargeability high identified in a 2024 induced polarization survey, as well as a zone of elevated potassium marked by a magnetic low signature from a 2024 airborne magnetic and radiometric survey. Rock grab samples from the zone have graded up to 11.7 g/t Au, 212 g/t Ag, and 0.81% Cu.

Daithi Mac Gearailt, President and CEO of Trailbreaker, commented on the program: "This was a well-executed drill program that provided us with an excellent opportunity to finally test two quality targets that we have been developing for the past five years. This was a first-pass, exploratory program, and we achieved our goals while remaining within budget." He also thanked the drill contractor, Empire Drilling, and the Trailbreaker team for their hard work.

The Atsutla Gold Project is centered over the regional-scale Teslin-Thibert fault system, which marks the contact between the Quesnel and Cache Creek terranes. Gold mineralization is associated with two distinct Mesozoic batholitic intrusions. Since discovery, Trailbreaker has outlined five significant zones of gold mineralization across a span of 26 kilometres. These include the Highlands Zone, with veins containing coarse visible gold assaying up to 630 g/t Au and 1,894 g/t Ag; the Christmas Creek Zone, 1.5 km east of Highlands, with rock samples up to 102 g/t Au and 524 g/t Ag; the Snook Zone, 3.5 km northeast of Highlands, with samples up to 53.3 g/t Au; the Willie Jack Zone, a 1.25 km long gold-in-soil anomaly with soil samples up to 3.77 g/t Au and rock samples up to 9.9 g/t Au; and the Swan Zone, as described above.

All 1,000 drill core samples, including standard reference material and blanks, have been submitted to Bureau Veritas' prep lab in Whitehorse, Yukon. Assay results will be released following compilation and data verification. These results are eagerly anticipated by the mining community, as they will provide the first direct evidence of the subsurface mineralization at the Swan Zone, potentially confirming the presence of a significant porphyry system.

The implications of this announcement are substantial for Trailbreaker and the broader exploration sector. Successful drill results could elevate the Atsutla Gold Project from a promising exploration property to a potentially economic mineral deposit, enhancing the company's portfolio and providing value for shareholders. Moreover, given the project's location in mining-friendly British Columbia, positive results could attract further investment and contribute to the regional mining economy.
