Cyndie Shaffstall, co-founder and COO of Trust Moments, is developing her 21st book, which will chronicle the real estate industry's AI revolution through interviews with dozens of industry leaders. The project aims to create a snapshot of AI development as it transforms the real estate industry, according to an announcement from the company.

Trust Moments has already contacted more than 200 industry leaders and will continue leadership interviews at NAR NXT, taking place November 6–8 in New Orleans. The interviews will contribute to an upcoming ebook, provisionally titled 100 Leadership Perspectives on AI in Real Estate, which is set for publication after the conference. Shaffstall and the founding team will be onsite at the show to conduct interviews and capture more industry perspectives.

The significance of the project lies in its effort to document how real estate professionals are integrating AI into their workflows and what those developments mean for the broader industry. "We are so energized by the way professionals in the real estate field are innovating the use of AI around their own workflows, creating solutions that empower humans," Shaffstall said. "We are reaching out to leaders all over the industry to create a comprehensive picture of where AI is now, where people want it to develop, and how it can make our work better than ever."

Shaffstall's most recent ebook, Case study: How we built an AI-powered relationship and referral engine (and the things I wish I knew then), published in October, examined the experiments and missteps of a small team without a traditional engineering background as they used AI to develop a real estate relationship and referral engine. That experience informs the new book's focus on practical, human-centered applications of AI.

"AI isn't here to replace human cognition – it's meant to empower people, and we're excited to hear how industry leaders are putting it to work," Shaffstall said. The forthcoming ebook could serve as a resource for real estate professionals seeking to understand how peers are adopting AI, what challenges they face, and where the technology may be headed next.

For industry leaders attending NAR NXT, Shaffstall extended an invitation: "To industry leaders attending NAR NXT, please stop by and share your successes and experiences with AI – together we make a stronger, more tech-forward industry."

Trust Moments is a privacy-first, AI-assisted relationship and referral platform. According to the company, the platform offers a new level of buyer information, helping agents surface useful behavioral data that can paint a more complete picture of the homes buyers dream of and how to match the right buyer with the perfect home. More information about the company is available at Trust Moments.

The project underscores the growing importance of AI in real estate and the value of shared industry knowledge as professionals navigate technological change. By collecting perspectives from leaders across the field, the ebook aims to provide a comprehensive view of AI's current state and its potential to enhance, rather than replace, human work in real estate.
